There are fewer than 1,000 bib numbers left, exclusively for the 4 km and 8 km – the 12 km is sold out. To give everyone a fair chance, we are allocating those spots through a lottery.

You register alone, or together with your group of runners – up to 10 people per registration. Everyone on the registration shares the same entry in the draw.

After registering you will receive a link to your personal profile. Save it to your favourites – from now on this is your permanent point of reference.
Also make sure mail from is never blocked or ends up in your spam folder. If you miss that email, you might miss your payment link.

From that day you will know whether you have been drawn – by email and in your profile. If you register with a group, the whole group wins (or loses) together: your registration is one entry in the draw, not one per runner.

If your group is drawn, that applies to the whole group. You pay for all runners together, in one go, within the 5 days.
Paying for part of the group, or waiting to see if someone else gets in another way, is not possible. Group drawn = the whole group must be paid for, no exceptions.

If a bib number is not paid for within those 5 days, it automatically goes to the next person on the reserve list.

Everyone has an equal chance
Whether you register alone or with a group of 10: every registration counts as one entry in the draw, with an equal chance of being drawn. As a result, every runner has exactly the same chance of being drawn, whether registering solo or as part of a group.
Adding more runners to your registration does not increase your chance, and splitting your group into separate registrations does not either – though then you risk not all starting together anymore.
The timing of your registration doesn’t matter either: registering early or late before 14 October makes no difference to your chances. This isn’t first-come, first-served – every registration goes into the same draw together.

Once all remaining bib numbers have been allocated, you will see that in your profile. Not drawn? Then unfortunately there is no spot left this year.
Emailing to ask whether something might still become available is pointless – sold out is sold out.

Every runner: exactly the same chance, solo or in a group
We took the time to thoroughly analyse what went wrong during the reopening of registration for the Eindejaarscorrida. We understand and share the frustration and dissatisfaction this has caused many of you.
We knew in advance that interest in the Corrida would be enormous, and had scaled up our systems beforehand. During the first registration window, it quickly became clear that this scaling wasn’t enough to handle the rush, after which we scaled up significantly once more. We then thoroughly tested everything within our means, and the system appeared to pass those tests without issue.
The second registration window therefore started off reasonably smoothly. In the end, however, the number of simultaneous requests once again proved too high to process smoothly, which made the website temporarily unreachable or very slow for some of you.
There are indications that part of that load was also caused by automated registration attempts, possibly by people looking to resell tickets for profit. We are investigating this further, in consultation with the relevant authorities.
We realise this was a second very frustrating experience for many of you, and that trust isn’t something we can take for granted right now. We don’t want anyone to have to go through this a third time, which is why we’ve decided to take a different approach for the remaining spots.
Despite the issues, more than 6,000 runners have been able to register so far. That means only a limited number of spots remain, exclusively for the 4 km and 8 km. The 12 km is completely sold out.
To avoid everyone who still wants a spot having to try registering again at the same time, we’ve decided to allocate the remaining bib numbers through a lottery.

Watch out for scams
Large events like the Corrida, where demand outstrips supply, are a favourite target for all kinds of scams. So stay extra vigilant.
Never simply click on a payment request you receive. If you’re drawn, you’ll always be able to see this on your personal registration page (“Manage your registration”), where you’ll also find your genuine payment link. On the details page we’ll explain where to find this page and the best way to save it.
Never simply believe someone claiming to have (extra) tickets for sale. We’re providing a verification system that lets you check whether a ticket being offered for sale actually exists.
